Ticket Types & Prices

EuroPython 2021 will be run online. Apart from the talks, the following paid tickets will grant you access to all the buzzing interaction, networking and social events that we have prepared for you:

We encourage you to buy your ticket as early as possible as this will help us make sure our technical setup is scaled up to right size of audience. See Invoices and VAT for more details of relevant information.

In addition, we offer these two types of tickets free of charge:

Note: All tickets are named and bound to the individual person assigned to the ticket.

Ticket Tiers

For each of the above paid ticket type, we have the two tiers you can choose from. We encourage and trust you to pick a ticket tier that suits your personal situation.

Note: We don't have a Student Ticket this year. If you cannot afford a Personal Ticket, check out how to apply for our Financial Aid Program. We want to meet you and share our love of Python!

Business Ticket

If a company is paying for your ticket and/or you need a proper VAT receipt (the Personal Ticket does not include a company name), please buy a Business Ticket.

Personal Ticket

If you are using Python as a hobby, as a freelancer or student and don't need a VAT receipt, the Personal Ticket is for you.

Combined Ticket

The price of the Combined Ticket includes:

Access to the whole conference and all sessions (Jul 26 - Aug 1).

The full EuroPython program

• More than 10 different training and workshops on 2 training days
• More than 100 talks, exciting keynotes, thought-provoking panels on 3 conference days
• 2 inspiring days of coding sprints / hackathons
• Hallway sessions, socializing, networking and meeting with friends are all included :-)

A chance to vote the talks to choose your own schedule

By registering before the end of the talk voting process, you'll have the chance to vote for the submitted abstracts and give your contribution to the final schedule of the conference. Register early to be able to vote!

Recruiting Session

There will be a special recruiting session for people looking for a new job. Easily get into contact with one of the conference sponsors. Many of them are hiring and would love to talk to you.

Conference Ticket

The price of the Conference Ticket includes:

Access to the conference and sprint days (Jul 28 - Aug 1).

The EuroPython conference program

• More than 100 talks, exciting keynotes, thought-provoking panels on 3 conference days
• Participation in sponsored training and the "Beginners' Day Workshop run by HumbleData" on Training Days
• 2 inspiring days of coding sprints / hackathons
• Hallway sessions, socializing and meeting with friends are all included :-)

Access to the paid training sessions and workshops on Monday and Tuesday is not included. Please buy a combined ticket, if you want to access those as well.

Stream-only Ticket

We provide free access to the live stream of conference-only videos (training, chat, Q&A and interaction not included). This is only available during the event. No rewinding or catch-up is possible. Access to the Stream-only Ticket (Jul 28-30) is free of charge, but we still require you to register and "buy" a ticket.

Sprint-only Ticket

Admission to the sprint days (Jul 31 and Aug 1) is free of charge, but we still require you to register and "buy" a ticket, so that we will send you participation details later. Sprint-only tickets do not include admission to the Conference Days or Training Days.

As always, all proceeds from the conference will go into our grants budget, which we used to fund financial aid for the next edition, special workshops and other European conferences and projects:

Payment Options

You can pay using credit/debit cards (via Stripe). We don't support other payment options, sorry.

Invoices and VAT

Tickets will be invoiced by the EuroPython Society (the EPS) and taxed in Sweden. Since the the EPS is a tax exempt non-profit, we do not charge VAT on the ticket invoices.

Terms and Questions

All ticket purchases are subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Refund policy

The conference ticket is fully refundable except for any administrative (bank, online payments services, etc) costs until June 26th, 2021 23:59:59 CEST.

Refunds are no longer possible after that time, no exceptions, sorry.

In case you wish to cancel your ticket, please send your order, invoice and ticket numbers to our refunds@europython.eu.

Please note that we will be processing refunds mostly after the conference, since we will be too busy with organizing the event before and during the conference.
